Intelligent hardware device - RemoteControl FS10iDev RC is a device used for remote command of equipments connected through RS232 or through relays. The device in already used with success including low GSM signal areas, in telemetry, telecontrol and security.
In many cases, these devices are remote or unattended and by using a GPRS wireless device with RS232 interface and relays connected to a cellular network, for configuring, monitoring or data aquisition you can obtain a stable and efficient method.
iDev RC is such a device.
The device allows communication with remote equipments connected to serial interface or to relays. The communications is made by SMS and/or voice call. The device can be configured to accept commands from predefined users. In voice call case, the system identifies caller ID and closes the call prior the carrier starts counting, resulting in lowering the operational costs.
Examples of applications:
- the remote command of garage door
- the remote close/open command of steam-generating station
- dialer for alarm systems serial connectable
- interfacing with external digital sensors and transmitting predefined events by SMS
The device configuration can be made through serial interface (RS232), using IWSC's application or any terminal client on your computer, or by proprietary commands send through SMS from an ID (number) predefined as administrator.
